The paint is barely dry in the shop and I have my first request for vintage rentals! I just received an email from a photographer friend. She has a picnic engagement shoot coming up in early October and she needs some props.
Perhaps you are wondering what happens when these types of requests come my way.
I think about the theme. In this case, it is for a picnic. I let my mind carry me away to what the most romantic and most fun picnic would be like with my mate. It might be at the beach or it might be under a big canopy of autumn coloured leaves.
Next I think about what I would want on this excursion. Obviously there is a blanket and a picnic basket, from there the possibilities are endless. I have a few ideas for this one but you will have to wait until early October to see what I come up with, and more importantly what the couple decide to use for their memorable engagement shoot.
In the meantime, this request gives me the perfect excuse to go out & buy that tin picnic basket I have been eying up at one of my favourite shops.
