Less than two weeks to HVR's first 'Lazy Days of Summer' Sale.  Cal (our truck) is going to packed full for this tail gate event.  Here are some the items that will be available at the sale on July 22nd.
There will not be any pre-sales or 'saves' for anyone.  If you want to buy something, you must come to the sale.  I will be accepting cash, Visa or Mastercard for payment methods.  No cheques.

Dunlop Livery Antiques kindly opened their front lawn for HVR's tail gate sale.  This location has special meaning to me because it was one of the places I use to go with my parents when they were out antique hunting.  I spent hours in the upper part of the barn as a child, playing house amongst the antique beds, dressers and quilts.  Pushing my doll around in a pram.   Asking if we could home yet.  ;-)

The new owner (o.k. he isn't so new, Bob has owned the place for 11 years) has a great eye for buying unique pieces.  Now it is my 6 year old son who has to keep himself busy while I shop around the barn.  Everything is full circle, I guess.

Dunlop Livery Antiques (on Facebook too) will be hosting a Customer Appreciation Sale on July 22nd too.  One day only to buy some great pieces at cost or below what Bob paid for them.  There will also be regular priced items for sale in the barn.  Some of my favourites (sap buckets, skeleton keys, crates, frames, industrial letters and oyster baskets) will be available for you to purchase too.  Take a look.
I will keep posting photos on the HVR Facebook page as I get items priced.  I might even have a sweet little surprise for you closer to the date of the sale.

So make a date with some friends for a road trip to the Goderich area.  (Here is a map to where the sale is) The beaches are grand and you will definitely go home with a trunk full of vintage goodies for your home, wedding decor or as a gift.
