  In November, all units in transportation system of the railway sector, in accordance with the unified deployment of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., focused on the goal of "Ensuring Safety, Stability and Operation; Increasing Transport Volume, Revenue and Benefit", continued to implement the campaign for increasing transport volume and income, and smoothly advanced the key tasks such as the e-ticket promotion, the opening and operation of new railway lines, and the "11-11" e-commerce golden week transportation, with significant achievements being made. Daily car loading and freight delivery reached a record high, which lays a solid foundation for the completion of the year-round transportation objectives and tasks.

  In November, railway passenger transport was in a relatively low season. According to the change of passenger flow, all CR regional groups had strengthened their daily organization, adjusted the ticketing strategy in time, monitored the ticketing in real time, optimized the allocation of ticket amount, and striven to promote the increase in passenger transportation volume. National railways registered a passenger ridership of 263 million, up 6.4% year-on-year. Among them, 179 million trips are made by EMU trains, up 13.3% year-on-year. In railways nationwide, 17 CR regional groups realized the year-on-year increase in passenger ridership, of which China Railway Urumqi Group Co., Ltd. realized an increase of more than 20% year-on-year.

  In November, the daily freight delivery of the national railways exceeded 10 million tons for the first time, reaching 10.2 million tons, up 10.4% year-on-year. The freight delivery in key railway lines and regions was growing steadily, with rapid growth in major categories. Among them, coal delivery increased by 3.2% and port ore delivery increased by 12.5%. Professional transportation such as containers, commercial automobiles and cold chain logistics continued to grow rapidly, with year-on-year growth exceeding 20%.
