At 10:20 on March 25, 1,053 students from Naqu City, Tibet Autonomous Region took Z9803 train from Naqu to Lhasa, starting a warm journey back to school. This is the first "point-to-point" student-dedicated train run by China Railway Qinghai-Tibet Group Co., Ltd. this spring.
Recently, schools in all parts of Tibet Autonomous Region have begun to open one after another. In order to meet the students' demand for returning school, Lhasa Station actively contacted with the Education Department of Tibet Autonomous Region. After learning the travel demands of Naqu students for returning to school, it has worked out a targeted transportation plan, in which two additional dedicated trains will be operated on March 25 and 26 to take 1,947 Naqu students back to school.
To ensure the smooth operation of the student-dedicated trains, China Railway Qinghai-Tibet Group Co., Ltd. has coordinated the train dispatching in a scientific manner, and has improved the epidemic prevention and service measures at the check-in, waiting, boarding, check-out and other links. Naqu Station has opened up the green channel for these students. It has arranged staff to guide the students to enter the station from different entrances, and spread the travel precautions to the students. It has increased staff and temperature detectors to strengthen the temperature monitoring of the students, set up special waiting areas and guided students to wait for trains at enough spacing distances.
China Railway Qinghai-Tibet Group Co., Ltd. also organized epidemic prevention workers to do a good job in disinfection and ventilation of stations and trains. In order to make it convenient for students to check out, Lhasa Station has dispatched more Party members to guide them at the station platforms, exit hall, temperature taking sites and station exits. At 15:00 on March 25, the students checked out from Lhasa Station safely and orderly after passing the infrared thermometer detection.
"The safe and convenient student-dedicated train has sent us back to school smoothly. Thanks the railway sector for its thoughtful service." Lead teacher Awang said excitedly to the station staff.
