It has innovated and enriched the measures facilitating and benefiting the people, and comprehensively ensured the passenger transportation organization during the May Day holiday with solid and effective work.
This year's May Day Holiday rail transportation lasts for 6 days (from April 30 to May 5). China Railway Guangzhou Group Co., Ltd. plans to implement peak operation diagrams on Beijing-Guangzhou HSR, Shanghai-Kunming HSR and Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong HSR under its administration, allocating 45 additional EMUs to the daily operation diagram and organizing some trains for coupled running. For Hangzhou-Shenzhen HSR under its administration, it plans to add 13 train sets on the basis of the daily operation diagram, arrange 21 pairs of trains for coupled running, and operate 5 pairs of additional trains beyond the operation diagram. It also plans to operate 1 additional train on Nanning-Guangzhou HSR and Guiyang-Guangzhou HSR under its administration beyond the operation diagram, and operate 30 pairs of additional temporary conventional-speed passenger trains under its administration to meet the demands of short-distance passengers.
While optimizing services, China Railway Guangzhou Group Co., Ltd. has further strengthened the epidemic prevention and control measures. Particularly, it has strengthened the temperature taking during the ticketing, check-in and boarding to ensure that all passengers are detected and the passengers with fever are timely handed over to local authorities. It has organized the disinfection and ventilation at stations and on trains comprehensively, and specially strengthened disinfection of key areas such as the handles, the armrests and the seats. In strict accordance with the requirements of the local governments, it has properly organized the transfer of inbound passengers, and strengthened various prevention and control measures in take-over of passengers between railway sector and local government and between station and train, seating arrangements, waiting and boarding-alighting organizations, etc.
