At 10:30 on April 1, No. 28,030 CRE train, carrying 18 loaders and 1 road roller, left Liuzhou, Guangxi and headed for Almaty, Zashita and Pavlodar, Kazakhstan. This is the first CRE train operated by China Railway Nanning Group Co., Ltd. since the resumption of work and production. It is also the first CRE train originating from Liuzhou, Guangxi, which has opened a new channel for local enterprises to export their products.
Liuzhou is an important industrial city in southwest China, with machinery, automobiles and metallurgy as its pillar industries. Guangxi Liugong Group Co., Ltd. exports about 3,500 loaders annually, mainly to Kazakhstan, Poland. Affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, transport by road of a batch of loaders originally destined for Kazakhstan was blocked.
This CRE train carrying 16 containers is expected to arrive in Kazakhstan in 18 days.
