At 17:45 on April 12, the X8020 CRE train left Yiwu with 100 TEUs of exporting goods. This CRE train, which will cross the Chinese border at Alataw Pass and finally arrive in Madrid, Spain, is the 102nd CRE train originated from Yiwu this year. So far this year, the CRE trains number of Yiwu has increased 70% year-on-year.

Since the beginning of this year, the number of CRE trains originated from Yiwu has increased sharply, reflecting the cooperation between railway enterprises and commercial enterprises for jointly realizing the against-trend growth of CRE trains. In the first quarter, the railway sector had operated 363 CRE trains in the Yangtze River Delta region, transported 35,000 TEUs, up 38.5% year-on-year, with a loaded container rate of 100%.

By firmly establishing a thinking of "integration", China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd. has joined hands with China Railway Container Transport Co., Ltd. to jointly form the marketing teams, formulate marketing plans, visit and communicate with target customers, and extend the services' coverage. It has given full play to the role of the customs supervision area and inspection and quarantine place set up in Hefei North and Yiwu West logistics bases to provide customers with one-stop services of customs declaration and inspection.

To improve the transport efficiency of CRE trains, China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd. implemented the "three priorities" in consignment, hoisting and coupling for transportation. It has selected high-quality container sources and vehicle sources, optimized the loading plan and loading scheme, and implemented "one-to-one", "one-stop" and "one-package" customized services. At the same time, in order to further expand the coverage of CRE trains, China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd. has accelerated the construction of inland railway ports. Its 15 CRE train loading stations such as Lianyungang Station and Suzhou West Station have covered with their services 12 major cities in the Yangtze River Delta region, and its 11 CRE trains can reach five Central Asian countries and 26 cities in 16 countries such as Russia and Germany.
